Isabelle McCall Ephron
Isabelle McCall Ephron is a London based multidisciplinary artist from New York City, with qualifications from the London art academy.
Her recent work consists of illustrated nocturnes, exploring the intimacy of darkness through contemporary portraiture. Ephron looks to cartoonists, graphic novelists, and animators to inform a deconstructed narrative practice, and to the masters of figurative expressionism for emotive inspiration.
Focused on stripping down her subject matter and evoking a sense of rawness and vulnerability, Isabelle explores her relationships to people, places, and symbolic motifs through her creative practice.
In the fall, Isabelle will continue her art education–beginning her BFA at UAL camberwell.
